During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances.

Insurance and Payment Information
You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance. If you have questions regarding billing or which insurance plans we accept, please call (205) 633-3606. Questions regarding insurance coverage and benefits should be directed to your employer or insurance company.
To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, locations, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance.
Appointments
If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
Insurance
Our office accepts a variety of HMOs, PPOs, and other health plans. Please call our office to verify acceptance of your insurance carrier.
Dr. Robert Hope received his undergraduate education at the University of Florida and attended medical school at the Barry School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. After graduating from medical school and receiving his D.P.M. in 1996, he completed podiatric residencies at Cedars Hospital in Miami, Florida and Lee County Memorial Hospital in Fort Meyers, Florida. Dr. Hope has been in business for sixteen years.
Dr. Hope became a Diplomat of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in 2000. He has hospital affiliations with UAB Medical West in Bessemer, Alabama. Dr. Hope can speak both English and Spanish. Podiatric care at his office includes treatment for heel pain, bunions, fungal nails, hammertoe, the diabetic foot, and much more.
